Norway Marco Polo Map (Marco Polo Maps) Reviews
This map has a scale of 1:800,000 and is easier to read than the Michelin edition (I know Michelin reputation is great, but...)
This map is so big that it is ridiculous. You cannot plan your trip if you plan on going any distance because some of your trip will be on one side and the rest on the other. Believe me, this is not a map you can just "turn over" easily...it's enormous!!! Decided to write this review because I am back online to try to find another Norway map that I can actually use!!
great detail of the fjords. We were on a cruise and wanted to see the fjords into which we were sailing. This map was exactly what we wanted. Yes, it is big. But for us that did not pose a problem. We will look for a Marco Polo map for our next trip.
This is a huge map, very detailed. I used it to follow our progress up the west coast of Norway and everything village and town was on it. Folds back up easily. Could be used in a car by folding open to the area you want, but it is VERY large
This map is large and awkward and splits the map of Norway placing part on one side and other parts on the reverse side. This often results in a travel itinerary that is on both front and back of map, rather than the entire route on one side. It does not provide any special information. The same information can be found on most other maps of Norway. I still prefer the Cappelens kart series.
Too big to use comfortably. I can't imagine using it during travel, but I can hang it on the wall for planning.
Waaaaay tooooo big to be useful. Nice to have but....who needs this!!??
Very large & not handy...
